Be'lakor brought me here. Okera plays the same brand of melodeath, but with more warbled vocals (aka more growly) and a noticeably brickwalled production, which is a huge shame because the music is very good. For fans of Be'lakor, there's no chance you will dislike this - and vice-versa. Dynamic Range Value: DR5

Melodic Death / Doom from Australia. This is extremely impressive & they really outdid themselves here! The atmosphere is dark & foreboding, the music is impeccable & the vocals are out of this world! Need more? Just get it already! No favourites! Highly recommended!!!

I would classify Myridian as Viking Metal; in the same vein as Amon Amarth. However, while AA may have hit the proverbial wall, Myridian is still growing as evidenced by their latest offering. Additionally, AA is not (and, quite frankly, never was) able/inclined to perform with the passion/range of Myridian. New to this album is a high/low register of growls, tighter songs/instrumentation, and a whole new emotive response via the listening experience. Buy it+25% of the low asking price! 5 stars!
